ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organisation within the Waste Management & Renewable Energy sectors. You'll be responsible for carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on their renewable energy process plant which is based in the Bridgwater area. 

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Mechanical & electrical maintenance on large process plant & equipment such pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, hydraulics etc.

• Carrying out fault finding & diagnostics, which will involve working with PLC control systems.

• Accurately recording all maintenance activities via the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Liaising with the Lead Engineer on site to optimise the PPM schedule.

• Ensuring adherence with health & safety procedures at all time.

• Other duties as required.

To be considered for this position, you should have a relevant engineering qualification (such as an apprenticeship / NVQ / City & Guilds etc.) and have proven experience carrying out maintenance on a variety of mechanical & electrical equipment (gearboxes, pumps, motors, valves, etc.). This role would be ideally suited for someone with a background working within a process sector such as Renewable Energy, Waste Management, Water Treatment, Food Processing or ex-forces (such as REME or Royal Navy). 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company within the waste management and renewable energy sector, working on a days basis Monday to Friday based on a 42 hour working week. 

The package on offer for this opportunity includes a salary in the range of £25,000 up to £32,000 (depending on experience), plus pension, holidays and healthcare.
